Matt is a fifth generation Floridian and a 20-year native of Pasco County. His attraction to woodworking was born from the simplistic roots of doing what you love, doing the best you can with what you have, and keeping things beautifully simple.

While he has never received any formal training in art or carpentry, his father’s "hands on approach" in raising him, has helped shape his craft into what it is today.

Matthew believes that God has created everything in nature beautiful and perfect, just as it is. His ideology in woodworking is to take whatever piece of wood or material, just as he finds it with the desire to only accentuate each piece just as it is.
